this is really just the hopeless romantic in me, which i thought i have repressed to the deepest trench in me, but no.. it resurfaces once in a while. if you’re watching the bedford diaries, a new series in the wb, you may or may not be able to relate but oh well.. here goes. i love love love that scene where richard (milo ventimiglia) was talking to natalie over the phone. the two had a long history together which almost cost natalie her life (she jumped off a building the day after she and richard hooked up). anyway, so richard was trying to apologize to natalie for everything he had done in the past but words can’t seem to escape his mouth. finally he said, “i don’t mind the sounds”, to which natalie replied, “me neither”. it’s that connection, that certain something which allows one to communicate to the other without having to have words spoken or blurted out. that certain familiarity, or something deeper than familiarity (gimme a word here, will ya? can’t seem to figure it out). oh well. it was really played out very well, too. waaaaaa i’m in love with milo! and every character he portrays! he’s doing rocky this year, i think. he’s rocky’s son. cool.

the bedford diaries

one thing i enjoy about the whole holy week hiatus on most tv stations is the different tv series marathons i get to watch. and yesterday, i caught up on gilmore girls, a show i used to really really love. i never missed an episode of this witty series before. until.. they took jess, actor milo ventimiglia, out of it. well, it kinda got boring throughout that whole stretch. i think it was near the end of the fourth season going onto the fifth. BUT, since i found out that jess made several guest appearances on the show, i started downloading the episodes i missed! and i’m actually re-liking it, if ever there’s even such a term. the show can get boring sometimes cause there’s really a lot, and i mean a whole lot, of talking and dialogues, sometimes monologues even. it tends to show a lot of bickering between characters, too. anyway, i still like it mainly because it has retained its deep and meaningful conversations and thoughts in general.

i also found out the milo is starring in a new wb series, the bedford diaries. think it’s about a bunch of new york college students who are put together in a certain sexual behavior kind-of-that-type-of-class/course and they tackle varying subjects or topics. yeah, don’t know much about the series yet cause they’ve aired just 4 so far. i’m currently in the process of downloading the pilot episode, and we’ll see from there if it’s worth watching. it hasn’t caught much attention and fanfare though, as did one tree hill or the o.c. but the same thing happened to prison break when it started out and look at where it is now.

he sure does! i hope he wins AI. but that’s not gonna happen. either way, i think he’ll get signed and will have his own record out soon coz he’s voice is just so damn good.

moments of love

my brother and i spent two hours of wasteful time watching moments of love starring dingdong dantes and iza calzado. at first, i thought, it might turn out to be a good movie since there have been lots of great filipino movies. plus the hype that they poured into advertising and promoting this movie took great heaps so i thought, yeah, it might be a good watch. well it wasn’t a tiny bit. the director was clearly hoping the audience would fall for his cheesy film. cinematography was ok. but the rest was just icky. gloria romero was the best actress in the bunch by a mile. there was undeniably NO connection at all between dingdong and karylle or dingdong and iza. between dingdong and gloria pwede pa! haha. but seriously, if this were what critics said could be compared to international movies, then they were probably on high or jabbing our arms and telling us a joke. am i being too harsh? nah. i don’t think so. just my two cents (or more). wished i just went in to the north country showing. so much for patronizing your own, eh?

new to i.ph!

i guess that title says it all, doesn’t it? yep, i’m new to i.ph. just registered today actually. i’ve moved from livejournal to blogspot to this. hehe. well, i decided to try out i.ph for two reasons. first, i like it’s sophisticated look which is hard to chance upon in blogspot (it’s hard to look for the perfect layout/blogskin. and if you’re not an html expert or what-other-techie-stuff you have there, you’re hopeless! like me!) and well, i think it’s time for a change, after two years or so. i like it!

hopefully, i’d be able to explore this new blog provider within a day’s time. or a week, perhaps? i have all the time in the world as of the moment. sana lang, wag hanggang matapos ang buwan di ba? i want to have a job by the end of the month!!! sana. sana talaga.
