moments of love

my brother and i spent two hours of wasteful time watching moments of love starring dingdong dantes and iza calzado. at first, i thought, it might turn out to be a good movie since there have been lots of great filipino movies. plus the hype that they poured into advertising and promoting this movie took great heaps so i thought, yeah, it might be a good watch. well it wasn’t a tiny bit. the director was clearly hoping the audience would fall for his cheesy film. cinematography was ok. but the rest was just icky. gloria romero was the best actress in the bunch by a mile. there was undeniably NO connection at all between dingdong and karylle or dingdong and iza. between dingdong and gloria pwede pa! haha. but seriously, if this were what critics said could be compared to international movies, then they were probably on high or jabbing our arms and telling us a joke. am i being too harsh? nah. i don’t think so. just my two cents (or more). wished i just went in to the north country showing. so much for patronizing your own, eh?

i remember my bf and i watched close to you instead of brokeback mountain, he said he never in his lifetime would want to watch 2 men having sex, well after close to u he said we shudve watched brokeback mountain, :D , oh well, i was thinkin on watchin this movie.. i juz have a crush on dingdong :P .. but then again.. hhmm.. second thoughts

hehe..moments of love was a rip-off of a 2003 korean movie..the whole plot just added some original scenes and twist…but hands down sa ads,as always marketing naman ang labanan dito satin even the the music industry..haha.Well,brokeback is a very nice eye opener movie if you analyze it deeper.the movie talks about this situation that could happen to anyone! love is a force of nature like the tagline says,too bad it didnt win oscar the best picture.kasi the academy is afraid na sa controversies and side comments.lol

i know! so much hype was created for the movie, i can't believe i got fooled! haha oh well. brokeback was just ok for me. i think i slept half way through the film. i guess what bored me was the dialogue, or the non-existence of it. the only time i'd be glued to it was when jake and heath would make out! hahaha. i think crash was hands down the best choice for best picture, imho.
